Re: How about some pics of 2wd Blazers, Jimmy's & Burbs?

saw this one at the Wichita Swap Meet last weekend. some patina, but very nice. the "Cheyenne Super 10" emblems led me to think this its been converted from a 1/2 ton Burb. Rear fenders appear to be dually pickup fenders.

cool truck. sorry if its already on here.

Re: How about some pics of 2wd Blazers, Jimmy's & Burbs?

I found this sitting on a little used car lot, and have been looking for decent 2wd blazer for a few years now. I'm not 100% sure of the drop, i think 3-4. 255/55r18 Yokohama Geolanders on eagle alloy rims.

Good eye, it is backwards, but for good reason, the "front" didn't have cup holders, so the previous owner (not me i might ad) put it in that way because there is cup holders on the other end.

Re: How about some pics of 2wd Blazers, Jimmy's & Burbs?

I just picked me up a Blazer today. Bought it from a super nice guy about an hour from me. 1982 Blazer with 75k miles on the body, mildly built 350, 700r4, white with blue interior, power windows/locks, newer front grill. Super clean rust free truck! Can't wait to start working on it. I've already put the new tailights on it he gave me with the truck. Just gonna tinker with a few things on it, drop just a lil more and throw some wheels on it and ride. Nice old school cruiser..

I have since removed the lights that are on the rear bumper

I'm gonna clean her up in the next few days and post some updated pics!

Re: How about some pics of 2wd Blazers, Jimmy's & Burbs?

Got it a year ago and had to put on exhaust manifolds and a power steering hose. The blazer needs some work, o.k. alot of work but she's all there. Has rebuilt 305 that's slow as a snail with drop spindles and a flip kit in the rear. Should be a nice ride with . Want to keep original interior just replace sheetmetal and suspention stuff. Gonna keep her close to the ground but need to improve ride. Shoot some paint, original silver and black top, oh ya neeeeeed to add a few hundred horses Enjoying the site: best wishes.

Re: How about some pics of 2wd Blazers, Jimmy's & Burbs?

so here is my burb got for $900 and shipped it back to New Zealand that cost $3500 and I got into it with the airbrush a few years back as I got bored with the crappy paint job

here is my old one , the 77 is the one that got me into the body shape and I have loved from then on , and to this very day I still love the front ends of the 73 - 79 .

just a small note I am selling my Camaro (1972 z28)in the next few weeks and I will be looking for a 73-75 k5 blazer in good con so if you are looking to sell one or know someone who is looking to sell please PM me

Re: How about some pics of 2wd Blazers, Jimmy's & Burbs?

Here's my '81 that just joined the fleet. I will be starting a build thread on it soon. I have a '91 GMC suburban core support and grille to go in it. It will also be receiving a 406 roller motor transplant with new paint and rolling stock.

I can't wait to get it street ready.

Mike

Its all about the peer pressure!! LOL.. I've tried to convince so many of my "scared" buddies to bag or lift their trucks, too many people think that if its a daily driver, you shouldn't do anything drastic to your truck.. BAH! Just do it! haha.. I drive my 76 Blazer 90 kilometers round trip to work and back all spring, summer and fall, highway, city, sunshine or rain! Turning heads all the way!
