Need help with direction on rusty floor pan

Hello. I started posting this under 4x4/technical “Any of your K’s getting stimulus love?”

But maybe this is a better area. I’m new to this and I’m wondering how bad the floors need to be to replace them. The passenger side of my recently purchased (with stimulus $ ) 75 K10 has mostly surface rust BUT there are a few pin holes in the passenger floorboard. My question is, What is the solution for this?

Any help is very much appreciated.
Thanks Vinnie

I'd bet if you had it sandblasted youd have more than a few pinholes...much better to cut it out and replace if you've got it in you...what are the plans for the truck?

Re: Need help with direction on rusty floor pan

I think you are right on the money sir. Several pinholes and a couple just smaller than a dime. I just want to get it solid. I’m not worried about the outside much. I just want it rust free and mechanically sound. It will be a daily driver. No show truck.

I want to clean up the grill guard paint or powdercoat and keep that on there with the winch.

Thanks for the advice!
