Keep those stock bullet-holes on. Dont see them often. I personally like them much better than rallys.

I regret selling my factory aluminum wheels. They have that factory style you just don't get with anything else.

I think they aren't in business anymore. I think the only ones available new are the Softtopper brand... I had a hard time dropping the $$$ also, but now that I have mine I love it!!! I paid the extra $60 for tinted windows for mine as well, looks and fit great. We love driving with just the sides and back rolled up. Best money I've spent on my truck, heck, now my wife even likes my Blazer!!!

Re: My 87 K5 Blazer project

I swapped out my drivers door wiring harness because my window switch wiring had issues and I have had nothing but problems. The window motor isn't working right on the drivers side it goes down about halfway and stops nothing in the tracks it will go up a tad and stop the elec. lock on the drivers door isn't working either the pass. side stuff works fine though. The drivers side isn't working fine at all. I believe the harness came out of a 85. I need help on this asap!

Re: My 87 K5 Blazer project

could be a crack in the wire going threw the door(check with meter)
the doors are wired diff if they only have power locks, not power win
(check colours of wires in the right spot in the plug)

It is a Skyler top. It appears they are back in business, website says they are avail, not cheap though.

I would also check the wiring in the door boot, all that flexing over the years tends to make the wires break.

Re: My 87 K5 Blazer project

Got everything working again. Window and lock work now . Sometime soon I'm going to be installing this Pionner cd player I have into the truck. My plan is to put it in the center console and leave the factory radio in the dash.

Truck looks great. I just found a Fiero GT in a local junkyard, if that helps you at all.
