Re: 72 Suburban rear A/C unit

I've got dual vintage air on my '69 C20. Recently did LS swap and used stock compressor. works just fine. Winter I use rear heat because I don't like front vents blowing in my face with heater.

Re: 72 Suburban rear A/C unit

Thank you for all the replies! I ended up just pulling the rear system out, I will eventually get vintage air for the front, I really only need the front air anyways!👍👍

Any chance you could give us some additional info on where/how you mounted the second vintage A/C unit and how the plumbing works?

Thanks!

Previous owner bolted generic vintage air blower unit to roof then built box around it. Freon and wiring run down right rear corner thru floor and along frame to front.

So this is what i had put together to run an under dash front unit and s small unit under the front seats. The plumbing has two selenoids to feed each of the units and 2 set of dryers.
vintage air part numbers - 751170 (evaporator), 521171 (hoses), 021567 (condenser), 110061 (fittings for compressor)
Monster condenser, PN 037030-OVR
Sanden 709, PN 04709-VMA
