Post edelbrock carb 1406 ajustment questions

I just started my truck after instaling edelbrock cam, intake, carb. this was at 2:30 am so I was in a rush. I did not hook up the choke yet. When I press the gaz pedal it stalls, I have to rev it by the carb thigny. Also the top part thigny closes when i give it gaz fom inside the tuck then stals then wont start. I have to go to the carb an open the top thigny then it will start. Is it cause I dont have the choke hooked up? Also where do youwire up your choke? Can you hook it up to the fuse box. Im assuming to a fuse terminal key on power on key off power off.

you should be able to hook the wire to ign unfused in the fuse box. As far as any adjustments,go to edelbrock site under carbs,& you should find all the tuning info that you need.... http://www.edelbrock.com/
