Yes, I have one on my 67 camaro. 100 amp I believe. Works great, but doesn't start charging until RPM gets over 1k or so the first time. But that hasn't caused much trouble since I know about it. I just make sure it kicks in before I let it idle.

Question

WHAT HAPPENS TO THE OTHER WIRES AND WHAT DO YOU DO WITH THE EXTERIOR VOLTAGE REGULATOR?

I removed everything else. External reg. wires (hide them inside loom I believe, been 5yrs ago)

Just cut them off, and make sure the bare wire doesn't touch anything. I have a voltage guage in mine, if you have a light, not exactly sure how to make that work.

Just unplug the harness from the voltage regulator, jump terminals 1 to 3 and 2 to 4,then black tape it and leave it. This will cause the light not to come on in your dash
