I've been following this site for awhile in the shadows, thanks for all the help yall have givin me! I'm currently building a 77 gmc 3/4T crew cab. I have blown up several TH 350s with the mild 350 that was in it and am in the process of doing a sm465 np205 swap with a oval port 454. Just bought a 6" rough country lift with N2o shocks and the 4" flip shackle from summit. Some ignition goodies and some 37" HMMWV tires on black 16.5 wagon wheels.

Another shortly after I got it, ended up painting the camper camo like the truck and used it for a few summers I have a pic of both camouflaged somewhere. I will add more pics as the build progresses. Thanks for this thread it's been inspiring!

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Crew Cabs Part II

Here is my square body crew cab.

Not that it really adds to the 'cool factor' but I haven't ever seen another small back window crew cab out there.

The last picture provides some hint as to what the plans are.

edit(maybe I cant upload pics yet?)

You should be able to. If it's multiple pics it is best to use photobucket and attach the addresses.

It tried it again from my phone. The error said something about a security token. Here they are through photobucket.

Hahaha. No thanks, I'm okay. I just want to swap the crew cab body onto the DT466 powered international chassis and put a flat bed on the back for hauling and pulling my gooseneck.

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Crew Cabs Part II

Recently picked up this 88 GMC R25. 350TBI TH400 14B FF 4.10 gears. I am considering making it a short bed at the least since I already have a longbed 87 GMC V1500. I do want to convert to 4x4 but no donors near me unfortunately.

Used to be an 84 3+3 one ton dually long bed, now 3+3 1/2 ton short bed single rear wheel truck project. Having a blast with this one.

Should've made it a short bed dually!

I had thought about it, but always been a fan of 4 door shortbed half ton trucks. Figure why not make one.
