1971 Chevrolet C10
Just wanted to post some pictures of a C10 I just bought.
Previously I have had two 1968 C10s - all were a bit too rusty and I was a bit too young to really figure out what I wanted to do. Anyway I have ordered some smoothy caps 10'-1/8'' and new front bumps stops as apparently the others fell out. As well as a new gear indicator lens. I will post some pictures of the interior and the engine soon. Its a 350cu in with a 350 tranny Any advice on anything is welcome. Thanks   Here is the imgur post for more pictures. It was leaking some transmission oil when I first got it home but seems to have relaxed. The truck obviously needs some love but that is the whole point. Some pretty crude remarks after your pics. Hope they’re friends of yours.
Likely none of them have ever seen the bottom side of a vehicle. Looks fairly clean to me. A good start to a righteous ride! Where in BC are you? I saw that truck for sale somewhere. |

Have you checked the body for filler? A fridge magnet works well for that. What motor? You got pics of the motor? |

It looks like someone has already done a lot of the hard work. Good for you. That steering wheel looks like a Grant wood wheel I had in my first truck way back when.
