No blinkers

What would cause the blinkers to not work? Replaced the relay already. I don't see any other fuses for the blinkers..??

Also check switch plug on column is connected....

There was one fuse blown but it wasn't the one I was expecting. No telling what's going on in this fuse block. If I told you some of the things I've found...
I'll replace it and see what happens. What amperage should it be?

It depends on which fuse it is. Here is one of the fuse blocks.

That's what the block looks like. It was the one between Heat and Radio, I assume that's the heater fan. But I used the heater this morning on the way to work and it works fine. So like i said, who knows what they did under there. I'm looking at a whole new wiring harness too just in case. Probably best...

Thanks guys, they are both pretty close. I'll print one off and take it out there with me. You can't read most of what mine says anymore. I'll take a meter and pop the other fuses out and check them too. They look ok but that doesn't always mean anything. The one I found was clearly popped.

Many times the fuse holder clips will be rusty too.

It stopped working before I replaced the whole steering column. Got that done this weekend and it still doesn't work.

I have not tested bulbs but inside dash flashers don't work and outside flashers don't work. I would assume I don't have ALL the bulbs bad but I'll check.

Nope, not yet but that will come in the future some day.

Does the horn work? All the electrics for the turn signals work off the steering column wiring harness. Hot wire into column and signals out. If you don't have a horn then you don't have power coming in to the harness.
Signal wires are dark blue and light blue. Disconnect the horse shoe connector and test with a 12 v test light.

Wiring diagram is your best friend.
Even if the colors are different but the wire is ran correct it helps you find the mistakes.

Ok guys, I figured it out. much easier than we thought. This is an all brand new steering column and the hazard button was pushed in. I couldn't push it in and couldn't pull it out. So I searched on here and found that someone said it took a ton of force to pop out the hazard switch the first couple times. I went out and put some elbow grease into it and bingo! everything works. (except the hazards) but that's the relay I think. At least I can drive and not worry about a ticket for no turn signals. I appreciate all the helpful tips.

If your lights didn't blink when the hazard switch was pushed in it means the switch is not getting power from the emergency flasher, which would explain why the turn signals didn't work when the hazard switch was in. Check the brown wire in the middle of the column connector for 12 volts constant power and if it has no voltage then the hazard flasher may be bad or the wiring connector may not be making contact on both sides. It is also possible that the TS switch hazard circuit is bad.

Start by swapping the two flashers and see if both flashers work the turn signals.
If neither one works the hazards then it's a power issue at the column connector or the TS hazard switch.

Once I pulled out the hazard switch the blinkers worked properly but the hazards still didn't work. I stopped at NAPA on the way home and got a new hazard module and that fixed the hazards. So everything works now. The Hazards have never worked since I got the truck as the switch was broken off. This is a classic "Work in progress". There are TONS of things I've fixed that I just shake my head and wonder what they were thinking... I've written it all down as I go and there is over a page of stuff.
