Whenever we travel east we pass through Walnut Ridge. I have never heard of Flippo Pratt Chevrolet. Those names are common to that area but I couldn't find any info on a dealership of that name.

I found John Sain Chevrolet in Walnut Ridge in the fifties and Cavanaugh is the dealer there now.

I just found it interesting that there is nothing on the WWW about the dealership.

Interesting... All I can go off of is the paperwork that came with the truck when I bought it. I will have to do some searching on my own to see what comes up.

I don't doubt the authenticity of the paperwork.

I just found it interesting in this day of information overload, that I couldn't find one mention of the dealership.

The Flppo Pratt sounds vaguely familiar like I may have seen the name on a truck bumper maybe. There was a Pratt auto salvage in Walnut Ridge.

There is a Pratt Auto Salvage and Flippo Used Cars still there.

Re: Original paint 1972 Cheyenne short bed

All of my searches came up empty. Must have been a dealer that was only there for a short while. Maybe with any luck somebody from Walnut Ridge that has lived there for a long time will chime in and fill us all in.
