My "new" 50 chevy

Thought you guys might appreciate my new acquisition. Saw it on a local auction bill at a farm last Sunday. Saw a bunch of car trailers at the sale, so I almost just left. Told my wife I was going to go take a look at it and make sure it got bid out of good deal territory, well I guess it didn't After going over the car, I am pretty sure it is a 32000 original mile car. It is filthy and was pulled out of a shed where it has sat since roughly 1979. I received the title from the last owners purchase. He bought it in 1971 and the last sticker in the door jamb for an oil change was at 31000 in 1971. It now reads 32,8xx The interior is beautiful minus the copious amount of mouse feces on the floor and its dire need for a fumigation. What I believe to be the original paint is pretty weak, but those of you from the rustbelt know how rare it is to find a car of this age, from this area, that is this solid. No rust through anywhere. Everything is complete and original down to all 4 hubcaps, the air cleaner, what look to be the original spark plug wires and radiator. The 216 is dirty, but not grease caked. Making it a little more of an oddball is that it is a 1st year automatic car and has its original powerglide. I spent about an hour unloading the trunk Sunday night. It had 6 aldi paper grocery sacks completely full of Tabloid magazines dating back to the 80's, a pair of bi-centennial plates in the wrapper, the original powerglide pamphlet, jacking instructions, a beautiful spare, several vintage boxes of dcon and more mouse turds as well as a few carcasses. At some point the last owner must have decided he was going to paint it an took the bumpers, grille, rocker mouldings, and tail lights off, Luckily I got all of those parts with it and I am glad he never painted it. I also got 2 original keys and the owners manual. So if you're still interested after all of that here are a few pictures:

SIDE NOTE< I am now in the market for a drivers side front window for this car, only piece of glass with a crack, pm me if you have one lying around
