Re: How many of you all have 67 trucks read this if you do

As much as everyone would like dealers that carry reproduction items to have EVERY OEM color and option available, it doesn't make sense for them to do so. The cost that goes in to production of lower volume items does not justify making certain parts when only a few would be sold over the course of a year. Instead of complaining about a vendor not having the color you want, why not be happy that you can even find the part at all? It takes a special type of person to restore a truck in this fashion and if everything was ready available, anyone could do it and it would take away from the fun.

Be creative and do something custom. OR if you want the original look, cowboy up and pay the money to have a piece custom made in an OEM color or pattern.

The man isn't trying to keep you down by not making your pattern or color, they are just trying to stay in business by not producing a low demand item. Especially during our current economic situation. Kudos to the small business owners that are making the massive amount of parts that we CAN currently obtain. Sorry, that is my .02.

No, those are rear armrests taken from a 4 door GM car. They just happen to have the same center distance between the bolt holes, and they are direct fit.
