Actually, placer gold and camaro gold are both code 53 and the formulas are the same. (At least according to my Axalta formula disc lifted from the Axalta booth WITH permission at GoodGuys).

But, I do like where your head is at. I may just paint it the same color as the truck. I do have a little paint left over...

z28.com is another site, great group of guys, low on members at the moment, and no "cliques", no bs, just help. I'm MikeyZ28SS over there.

Good luck on the Camaro Resto-mod, I'm sure it'll be amazing

Mike: I was actually thinking gold/black stripes. With the one-piece rear spoiler and a complete RS nose. Yes, correct with round parking/turn signals. Black interior with the deluxe black/white material for a '73 type LT. No mini tubs, just 8 or 10 inch wheels, lowered just a little. For motivation, ZZ6 crate motor, 700R4; and Holly Sniper TBI. ??? Kind of fits my pattern eh?

Darrell,
Wow that does sound sweet! IRS in the back to improve the ride quality / handling?
My 70 had the split front bumpers and 3-pc rear spoiler, never checked to see if it was any special model back then, just enjoyed it for what it was

Sounds like you've got a well laid out plan, an awesome plan!

Darn, forgot to say Incredible Truck you have there!

Mike
