Re: Building a 1985 Jimmy Ultra.

I have been trying to get around a problem with the TB. The lever pull the wrong way. Looked at away to turn the problem around but it takes up to much room!

So my son is pulling his injectors on this 7.4 truck motor and I had to take a look at the TB. It pulles the right way and it is a 70mm bore. Thats good, but the mount is different. Out comes the cutter and now it is all welded back on!

This TB does not have a MAF sender so I will need to fab up a place for it in the runner.

Re: Building a 1985 Jimmy Ultra.

The slotted bracket came from Edelbrock 2.8 / 3.4 intake manifold. That was on the old 3.4 motor. The cable end I made. Edelbrock may sell it as just a parts kit?

Need to remount the new A/C compressor. All mounted. Belt is 100" long.
Also had to use the compressor to adjust the belt.

Re: Building a 1985 Jimmy Ultra.

The front and backside of the compressor mount, are those cut oem mounts or did you make those too?

Thank you sir. If I add AC to my military Blazer I will have to fab the bracket so that there is the ticket.

Had to fix the wife's Jetta. Bad Alt. It took 2 1/2 hours to get to it!

Worked on the hot water lines to the heater.

Re: Building a 1985 Jimmy Ultra.

With me using the OEM cooling system needed to make a place to put the electric fans. This will house one of the Ultra's fan's and 2 7" fans.

Re: Building a 1985 Jimmy Ultra.

Got some time to build some brackets and now looking at what will fit? Still need to install blower but need to change blower shaft seal. Found that after after installing the new oil?
