Removing/Installing Door Window

The passenger side window on my 68 C10 was shattered so I have the replacement glass to replace it with. What all do I need to remove in the door to install the new glass? Just trying to take out the least amount of door items that I can. Thanks.

Re: Removing/Installing Door Window

There is a great write up on here with step by step instructions.
I used it to pull all my glass and vents to paint.
Do a forum search and I’m sure it will come up.

Re: Removing/Installing Door Window

I unscrewed the Phillips head screws that hold the rail in the rearward part of the door. This allowed the window to be pushed rearward on the regulator to get the rollers to the opening on the bottom of the window to disconnect the window from the regulator.
I'm going off of memory from a year ago... but a week after I installed the glass in one door, I forgot the sequence and screwed around on the second door.
