good point there...although it was more suggestive and innuendo then and more in your face now with much more vulgar language....also a LOT more skin and gore...

I look back now at movies and tv shows I watched as a kid and thought were very "clean" and now catch all kinds of innuendo...I was pretty naive as a child I guess

I totally understand turning off the programs you don't want to watch and my family does that....it's the on demand advertisements and ads between sporting events that get me to be honest....I've gotten around it somewhat by paying extra for a dvr....so I can pause at the commercials then fast forward/skip them....but I can't skip the on demand ads as my kids look up their kids shows or movies and hate what they see and hear on those...
