Full top conversion

First of all: yes I did a search. I have the top and windsheild frame ready to swap over on my 77 to make it a full convertible, only thing I’m second guessing is the rocker boxes. Has anyone added 73-75 inner rockers to their conversion? Is there any other options? I think my 77 has the same body mounts and floor as the 73+. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Full top conversion

I've seen pictures where people took round or square tubing and made some "X" braces on the underside of the floor tying the rocker / body mount gussets / floor together.

Another option would be to add a roll cage and tie it to the A and B pillars.
