High hump to low hump pan

I have searched the internet trying to find any one out there making a bolt in low hump floor pan like you would have in a 2 wd. truck that are part of the one pcs. floor.
I know that they were only a bolt in a high hump version but I thought maybe some one made the conversion the other way so you could use it to go from a high hump to the flat floor.
I was trying not to cut a good cab up or a whole replacement floor to make one myself, any information is appreciated thanks Jay

Re: High hump to low hump pan

There's no bolt in low-hump on the market that I'm aware of. Everybody is typically needing more clearance, not less, hence the high humps being made

Re: High hump to low hump pan

Yeah I've never seen an aftermarket one. A buddy and I cut one out of a cab to use, though: it was not hard.

Don't feel bad, there are lots of cabs getting crushed and you might as well get a trans hump out of one of them. The nice thing about them is that they are usually so soaked in grease that they are rust-free!

Re: High hump to low hump pan

I've got a low hump listed for sale. You'd have to weld it in though.

Re: High hump to low hump pan

If you could locate a dented up hood that would be perfect for the floor pan.
Next I would try and find a hi hump truck and make a template for the size and bolt locations. Weld in the nuts required and rust encapsulate the underneath. A roll of seam caulk and you will be looking factory
Just my humble solution I would do

Re: High hump to low hump pan

thank you all very much. I have 3 cabs here at my place in western Pa. and they are really hard to get in half decent shape. I would be interested in the pan that is for sale. I surely do appreciate all of the comments and help that I have received over the years. Thanks Jay

Re: High hump to low hump pan

Easy enough to make one. years ago I wanted access into that area so I cut out the original floor following the factory stamped beads. Added a 1" flange around that. I used some captured body nuts and bolted the original piece back in.

Re: High hump to low hump pan

I had a fella on here that wanted a high hump. I traded him for a cut out of a junk cab floor. I have a body lift so the low hump is low enough. I had him cut it out larger than needed and just cut to size and drilled holes. Works great.

Re: High hump to low hump pan

I cut the low hump out of a floor a buddy bought for the rockers. I then took the high hump and traced the hole layout and edges onto the low hump and trimmed it up and drilled the holes so it will bolt down like if the factory did it. then seam sealed it up before putting the carpet down.
