Carlisle Truck Show. August 7-9. Anyone going?

I have been to this event in the past and always found it cost effective for buying large parts. Just wondering if anyone has any idea if the usual vendors will be there, or if the there will be less to see this year? Thanks. Maybe Tim has an idea on this.

Re: Carlisle Truck Show. August 7-9. Anyone going?

I don't have any reason to doubt it will be any different, other than me not having my longtime standing spaces. I'm very bummed about that, but I've had a terrible year that forced decisions to lean toward necessity over fun. With everyone I know who sets up it's business as usual.

Thanks Tim, That helps. Perhaps I will see you down there, but not in the same location.
I will keep my eyes out for you.

Re: Carlisle Truck Show. August 7-9. Anyone going?

Hey Bill, Good to see your name. I hope you are happy being so far from Washington, DC . I missed you when you stopped coming to the show. Ever changing times. I guess I'll work on getting them back, if possible. A lot of bad circumstances once renew deadline came around and not much better since. Too much to deal with so I just blocked the renewal out. I'll be hearing/talking about it the whole weekend. Me and my neighbors were like one unit. You know all the management cares is someone handing them money.

Hey George, I'll be looking for you. I'll be around and hanging at Jimer64s and near Jeffs Bowties. Jim's spaces are I-71 & 72... easy numbers to remember!

I'm leaving Thursday afternoon. Staying about 20 minutes away from the show. Finished some preventative maintenance on the suburban . Packed the front bearings and changed the rear fluid and an oil change

Robs71 it is always nice to connect faces to names, so I hope I get to make a few more connections. Are you the Rob I met who has the panel truck?

Re: Carlisle Truck Show. August 7-9. Anyone going?

I think I'll run there tomorrow afternoon. I'm going to bring windshield trim since it's hard to ship. Not bringing much since I'm not on my homestead. Mostly a few big things I just want gone.
