Re: 1967 c10 11,200mi 327

Curious what the spec size is on those tires?
I can read the Custom 428 A/S All_Season Radial Tire
But wonder if they are 225/75R15
Would like to get the same thing for my 67.

* * *

And did that come with stainless/chrome dog dish caps?

Yeah definitely until I swap engine into shortbed. Hopefully doing that this weekend. Haven’t totally decided I kinda bought it as a backup truck while I swap engine and maybe paint shortbed eventually.

Put the hubcaps on today. Adjusting floats tonight and hoping the trans module that was full of fluid was the reason trans was struggling. Hunting down leaks but hopefully drive it a little tomorrow. If anyone knows the exact float measurements for a 4jet (not a quadrajet) floats it would be appreciated. Everything I’m finding is for the quadrajet. Original 327 4 barrel.

Your Welcome
35 years ago
I was watching this Gentleman use a
(white 90 degree square ) to set the float level.
He could make a Carb. work like it Should.
Thanks for your Question.
That bought back a Lot of Good Memories.

Well back to working on transmission. I pulled governor but piston moves freely so on to the next step. Bought a gasket kit so this week I’m going to explore valve body and see if I can find what’s stuck. Won’t shift out of first.

Re: 1967 c10 11,200mi 327

I finally got around to putting up videos on youtube under "Show Me Trucks”. I learned most of my modifications off this site so I hope you all enjoy. Builds on this truck "Woody", my 1967 Chevy C10 5.3l shortbed and custom camper shell will all be on there. Thanks for all the help you guys have given me.
