Lowering my 85

I have lowered my 1985 C10 with 2.5 drop spindles in the front and 4" hanger kit in the rear,I would like to go little lower in the back and was wondering about doing a rear flip,my question is should i put the old hangers back on to do the flip or not,I don't really want to lay frame, just want to level it out,I am running 255/60x15 on the front and 275/60x15 on the rear,

Re: Lowering my 85

You'll need to go back to the factory rear spring hangers and shackles before you do the flip. Depending on who you talk to you'll get around 5 to 7 inch drop, but that should gove you the extra drop you need. Make sure you pinon angles are right during the lowering.

Re: Lowering my 85

I left the back ones on and just moved the leaf to the top position on the shackle ,no problems here and no notch
