Stumped!!! Tranny question

Ok,

I have a 89 2500 burb, that came factory with Th400. I swapped in a 700R4. The 700 came out of a 1986 blazer. My tranny guy setup the trans to lockup only in 4th, and told me to use the red wire in the 4 wire harness to put 12v to for lockup. Now, I wanted to hook up the TC lockup to a cancel switch on the brake pedal. I saw my brake light switch, and bolted next to it is another switch with a vacuum line hooked to it. No elec on the second switch. The vaccuum line runs to the cruise module. What is the best way to hookup a brake cancel switch for the TC? I thought cruise modules were canceled by an electronic switch, not vacuum? Is there a way to retro fit a cruise module with an elec cancel so i can use the switch to cencel the TC lockup too? Or do I just ditch the cruise and get a cancel switch to take the place of the vacuum switch?

What would you guys do? I really dont need the cruise if that is the best option.

Re: Stumped!!! Tranny question

Nobody has anything to chime in with?

I also thought about using a relay wired to open when I hit the brakes. It might be a simpler solution.

Any other thoughts?
