OK for us first time blasters, what media do you use? sand ,silica, walnut shells?
What type of blaster ?
Primer? and of course the silver ?
They look great. For what it's worth I have a set of six lug just like yours to paint.

Media: Just your basic everyday black beauty, extra fine.
Blaster: Most anything will work from a siphon type on up.
Primer: I used a metal etching primer, that could be followed up with an epoxy primer but be sure to use the etch first. This can be bought in a rattle can also. Napa part #7220
Paint: Again, everday [silver argent] rattle can. Napa and many other places sell it. Napa part #7245

This was a "get-r-done" mini project, could of done more with the primer and way more with the painting.

quick tip for media blasting...

walnut shells work well, but they're very obnoxious. what I mean by that is that they're greasy and leave a film, so when you're blasting something like a wheel with a lot of holes and crevices that you want to cover with paint, you're not going to get the grease out of there and you'll get runs and paint bubbles. at least, that's been my experience.

very nice job on the wheels!
