Help Identifying Muncie SM465 Sensor's

Stupid question alert:

This is a Muncie SM465 Transmission

What are these sensors for? I would assume one of them may be for the trans temp? But you know what happens when you assume..... When I took the trans out I don't recall anything being hooked up to these.

The one on the right is for reverse lights. I am guessing that the top sensor is some sort of neutral safety switch.

The plug with one barb is the ground for the tcs. Transmission controlled spark. Emissions device to limit vacuum advance until you’re in high gear.
The other is the back up lights.

I feel stupid about the back up lights, however, I would have never figured out the TCS.

Am I correct in thinking I can just leave this unhooked with no adverse effects?
