I read a book many years ago that was written by a ER doc, and some of the things he saw just defy belief, and are NSF this website.
My brother had a friend that had a metal rod or something like that go through his windshield. It killed him.

My son was driving home on the 210 freeway and he said that there was a piece of metal bouncing around. He couldn't avoid it because it was bouncing all over. It destroyed one of his rims but at least he and his girlfriend weren't hurt.

Piece of a 4x4 smashed the misses windshield on her CRV . Hit it flat so it spun away and dented the rear passenger door .

Hit a whitetail doe right behind the ear with the front corner of my namesake.

Didn't break the headlight and just barely dented the bezel, but her butt swung around and oil-canned the driver's door pretty bad. Plus there was deer do-do all the way down the side of the bed!
