I met Tim last summer
On one of my road trips we hung out at his house
And he showed me the countryside nearby
So we have each other’s phone #s
When I reached out to him he did text me back
Saying he was good, appreciated the concern, and would call me later
After not hearing from him in a week I left him a vm
And sent him a text,
Saying every one missed him and were worried
But I wouldn’t pry.

I have many friends on the board , some I have met
Some not

But do feel a comaradarie with all the truck guys here

I have called around to other members to see if Anyone has a closer relationship with him, to make sure he is ok.
It’s human nature, to care
Hopefully (maybe) Liz , Josh , Leon ??
Or someone knows him personally
It is definitely worrisome that he is not posting
I hope for the best outcome

Re: Special K

It sounds like he's safe. Maybe he just doesn't want to talk to anyone right now. I've been there. Sometimes things happen and it takes time to get past it.

Re: Special K

One can only speculate about Tim's absence. But his Mom is around 90 and still lives alone so if she is ill I know he, good man that he is, will be right by her side with no distractions. I hope she is fine but with age and virus concerns it's a good possibility. I wish them well.

Usually if one of the Administrators or Moderators are going to take a leave of absence they will post in the staff only area. Nothing there.

I am also concerned about her or another a member of his family.
Just have to wait and see I guess....

Funny how you can have more concern for someone you've never more than some of the people you see every day.

I too am not one to pry or be nosy. Just hearing that "all's well" is enough.

Till then Im picturing a beach in Bora Bora, a drink with an umbrella and a guy from MD looking out of place while trying to figure out why his computer crashed again .

I talked to him a few weeks ago and he said he was working for a historic preservation company. Maybe they are keeping him busy. He was also getting his house ready to sell.

Good to hear and I may not be the only one that would throw in for an extended warranty or Apple Care for Tims next 'puter . If only to avoid the stress of wondering where he's at!

Glad to hear he's ok and gonna make a grand entrance soon (I hope).

I was getting soooo close to catching his post count too!
