No, not my cup of tea, I’m pretty much a 4X4 feller. Plus my collection is a bit heavy at the moment

Re: Post your C/L finds here for all to see

Another one from the Portland area. $22,900 Not mine nor am I affiliated with the seller or dealer. It's just an awfully nice truck.

https://portland.craigslist.org/mlt/...245628237.html

1979 Chevrolet Silverado “Big 10”, ½ Ton C10 Pick up Truck

The Paint: Custom Burgundy and White in base/coat, clear/coat, 3-tone painted divider stripe, beautiful paint.

The Engine: Chevrolet 350 CID, L98 LS1 V8, completely rebuilt, with Tuned Port Injection, aluminum manifold, finned aluminum valve covers, billet front pulley system with all aluminum pulleys, roller cam, coated headers.

The Transmission: Chevrolet 700R4 Automatic with overdrive, rebuilt.

The Differential: Original 12 Bolt

The Suspension: Factory rebuilt, and lowered front and rear, new bushings, new A-arms, shocks, and a front sway bar.

The Interior: Very quality customized and comfortable, Black and burgundy bucket seating with a matching full console, Dash and door panels, all with complimenting burgundy stitching Show lighting controls, full compliment of Auto-meter gauges, chrome tilt column with a billet steering wheel, custom stereo system, and aluminum appointments.

Power Steering with remote reservoir

Power front disc brakes

Chrome brake master cylinder and booster

Air conditioning

Show lighting

Complete new wiring kit throughout

All gauges work

Heat/AC, windshield wipers, and turn signals work

Power windows and door locks

Aftermarket stereo system

Polished billet serpentine pulley system with polished and chrome accessories

Aluminum washer fluid reservoir

Aluminum radiator with dual cooling fans

Chrome coolant expansion reservoir

Long bed fully rhino-lined, and in excellent condition

New complete dual exhaust system

15” Billet aluminum wheels with BFG radial T/A's all around

Wow! This truck is nothing short of amazing. Frame off restored, it's not only clean, and crisp everywhere, but, this truck is absolutely ready for a fun road trip.
Built to be a show truck, it's very well appointed, and has some show accessories such as engine lighting, and image lighting projected on the ground when the doors are opened, but show stopper aside, this truck actually drives very nice, comfortable, and easy.
The TPI 350 has been completely rebuilt, as well as the transmission, and since the truck was finished about a year and a half ago, it's traveled some 3,300 miles. Perfect! All shaken out, and ready for anything! The paint shines very deeply, and the dual racing stripes over the hood is a nice touch. The Chevrolet Silverado “Big 10” means this is a heavy duty ½ ton, capable of a payload higher than most ½ tons.
What you have here, is really a multi-purpose vehicle. You can take it to a car show or a cruise-in, pick up a work load at one of the big box stores, or take it on a long road trip as it is very comfortable and has most every convenience you will need.
The wheels and tires fit the truck nicely and are in excellent condition, and the duel exhaust has a nice low rumble without drone.
These “Square-cab” trucks are becoming more and more popular, and due their cab size, and modern driving components, they make an excellent choice for daily driving as well as show trucks, and work trucks as well. Super cool truck!
