Tail gate wiring

Can any one help me out I want to update my tailgate and use an electric one.
post pics of wiring and switch please. I think i cant one from an 85 blazer should work rite?

It should be only 2 wires power and ground? And take a look LMC book I think they have a brake down on it.

There are three wires total
1 - up
2 - down
3 - safety switch (window wont work without it...it is on the passenger side of the tailgate)

The motor is self grounded i believe, and the switch is a typical 2 way momentary type.

If going from mechanical window to electric you will need the regulator as well as the motor and wiring

Thanx 83burban. I think i found a complete set up from an 85 blazer. Im going to take it apart on thursday.
