Re: How about some pictures of '73-'87 short beds

g-old, why would someone put a ls1 in a 2006 regular cab? the 5.3's they come with are just as good

the orgiginal engine was messed upped with only 21,000 miles he liked nitrous alot and the engine didn't hold it plus he wasn't bringing down the timing on the tunning and you cant spray that much nitrous with allot of timing
plus he tough the ls1 was going to beat me he has always had something against me and my bro because at the begining he was beating me when my truck had only the cam and wasn't a full bolt on and no gears but now all he sees is my rear lights

S&P does headers for the LS-1 motors in earlier trucks.

BadBusa-

I am liking the way that 87 runs... So give me the exact combo. You have a 5.3 with an aftermarket cam you mentioned, the home made headers, are you still using the fuel injection it came with? What rear ratio do you have in it? Engine come out of another donor truck? Or did I get it wrong and this truck has an LS-1 out of the Camaro?

It looks like a really strong running truck, and it sounds real good to boot with the cam you have in it!

Those are Billet Specialties GTX02's. Look like 17's but that's just a guess...

Thanks for the quick turn around N2Trux! Billet Specialties makes some GOOD LOOKING wheels. I wanted to buy some wheels this spring before I graduate from college. If I buy bs, I better wait until I make big boy money first...

Do you have any problems keeping the shine on your polished aluminum wheels?

This is my daily driver. It has a crate Vortec 350 with a 4sp. It's an '80, but I liked the earlier grille better. It's not all that special, but the dog and I like it.
