Hello from W Tx

New to the C10 scene with a Longbed '68 C10. Been owning and modding Fbodies, primarily LS1 cars, for the better part of 10+ years now and decided to go old school so my daughter and son could learn and help as well.

Specs on truck

396/TH400 numbers matching truck with rear leafs
118k miles, PS & AC truck
Owner still had build sheet, protect o plate, as well as a ton of original owners receipts and registrations over the span of 3 decades. Pretty neat stuff.

Future plans include full disc brake swap, 4/6 drop, and contemplating an LS swap but breaking up a numbers matching truck has me a little indifferent about it.

Looking forward to discussions and learning from you guys.

Re: Hello from W Tx

That's a beauty of a truck you have there. I'm kind of partial to stock builds, and that truck has some well documented history and is solid and straight as an arrow.

Awesome '68... Love the picture with your son, I'm guessing. That smile is enough reason to restore the truck! Is it an anniversary model? Paint colors tell me it could be... Good luck with it!
