spray in bedliner
Ok which is the best to get they all say they are great but how do they really last and look after time? Has any one done the color match and how close really is the color and how much fade? Finally getting close to this step and would love everyones input and pics on color match.

I would like some input on this too, as I am near this step on my truck. Plus, how much of a premium will I have to pay for matching colors?

I'm sure you will get a lot of different opinions on this subject. I have had Rhino in a previous truck (didn't care for it as it is a bit smooth for my liking), I have Gatorhyde in my C20...I like it but the guy who did it for me (ChevyDude) went out of business....
 I also have Line-x in my CST...I like it the best....best texture in my opinion....Mine are all black so I can't comment on colors...

go with the texture stuff, the guy i bought my truck from sprayed the smooth stuff in the bed of my truck less then 4 months ago and now its chipping and starting to peel
. Next year im taking my bed off and fixing a little bit of rot on my bed support and will bed liner the inside and underneath of the thing so i want to see what every body else has done and recomends.

Go with Line-X if getting sprayed professionally. I have seen numerous colored Rhino-lined trucks faded horribly. I haven't seen faded line-x beds yet. I have used a lot of different diy bedliner kits. The best I have used was SEM tintable bedliner. You can match your body color and it's a little smoother like Rhino-lining. I sprayed it with a cheap Harbor Freight abrasive gun. I have it in my daily driver jeep mixed to match my interior color. Hasn't chipped yet. Also, a great diy kit that comes in a array of colors is Grizzly Grip. I shot it from another cheap Harbor Freight gun, but it was a drywall splatter hopper gun. It left a course texture much like Line-x. It would be great for a bed, but inside a jeep, it felt like 40 grit sandpaper if your leg rubbed it. I never had a problem with it either. I don't recommend the cheap Wal-Mart versions like Dupli-color and Herculiner is okay, only if you don't use your bed for heavy work. Trevor

I used the rustoleum bed liner, rolled it on then used 2 cans of the spray kind to give it a more even texture and its not faded or chipped and I throw yard tools and shovels and bricks in the back all the time. Cost me about 4 hours and 30 bucks.

It really also depends on what you want it to do. I have the Rhino liner in my truck. Its been in there probably 8 years. As far as looks go, its about the least attractive. It does fade, but they have something you can put on it to bring it back. One plus is that while being smoother than others, its also more rubbery. I would worry less about damaging anything delicate with it. If I had to choose, based on apperance, I would go for the Line-X. It looks better (to me), seems to weather better, and also looks like it would be more resistant to getting cut.
