Thanks. The seat is out of a 2004 2500 Dodge. The seat belts are new and from Wesco performance. I got the ones for bucket seats (11") and the GM labels on the latches. I am pretty satisfied with them. Make sure you get the hardware kit. I did not and I had to order these when I finally got around to installing them.

Thanks. I think I might go behind the tail light because it will give the most room for a fuel nozzle.

I'm with ya there. Only burn outs it'll be doing is on some different tires. Haha

The only problem with a motor cycle fill is you'd never get a large truck stop fuel nozzle in it. And that's a bad deal if that is the only nozzle around with diesel in it.

Re: 1972 Chevy 4wd Longhorn Project: Never Ending Changes

Dieselwrencher I have a Boyd welding 19 gallon cell and used a 88-98 Chevy door in my bed floor. My truck being a short bed any work I do with it I will most likely have a trailer behind me, but I also was concerned about the day I have a full pickup load and need fuel. Here's some pics, the door landed where the bed support is so that had to be notched.

Rgreathouse, that turned out nice!

I got some different front emblems from Shortie. They look closer to the originals compared to the ones I have on it now.

Thanks. Member Shortie is making them. I also asked if he would be interested in doing the Cheyenne 30, 20, and Super badges. He said he might if there is enough interest.

Yes they are. I'd like to see if he can make some for my 76 that mimic stock Cheyenne with a Cummins C instead just a C.

I'd like a set for my suburban grille like that, just "359". But I don't know which year grille I'm going with yet.

PM him and I bet he'll design one after he gets all the others made up. I'd like to have him make some for the grill for the 76 too. I'd also like to get an Excursion name plate with the Cummins C instead of just a capitol C.

Thanks Mike. I have another cool bling part on the way that another member turned me on to. I can't believe I haven't seen anyone on here talking about them yet. You'll just have to wait to see what they are.

I did buy some shock mounts for the D60, adjustable bump stops for the rear suspension, and the secret shiny things too. Still no word on my converter. I bet the builder is at TS getting ready to race. I'd really like to get the trans back in this thing before June. I forgot to show a pic with the 35s on it. I stole them off the 76 since it's just setting around any way.

I'll probably put them on again. We'll have to see. I really like this look too. Yeah, it never seems to stop. There's always something else. this week I also ordered some wheel spacers for the front, and an AFC live stage 2 for fuel control.

oh yeah, keeping the Firebird. just needed to downsize total number of vehicles, and get something more suitable for family towing requirements. Got something different already, but can't mention it here

It must be a Ford. It's ok. These guys just don't know what a real truck is. I miss my 95 F350 every day. And I really miss my old 05 F350. Even for a 6.0, it was a sweet truck.

Yesterday my converter shipped! Now to get this pig put back together. The goal is to drive it in July. I'd like to actually drive it in June but we'll see.

Thanks. I really like Ford trucks. Especially 84 up. A 97 CC LWB and a 05 cc lwb are my favorites.
