Under dash toggle switch

I have a 68 swb stepside, and was curious what the toggle switch on the left lower side of the dash was for. I have noticed these on most all 67-72 C/10 trucks. Thanks

Re: Under dash toggle switch

It's for turning on the Flux Capacitor if so equipped. Dealer installed option.

Re: Under dash toggle switch

I hate those flux capacitors, what with leaving flames burning on the street and all. It seems hazardous to me. It's just for show-offs...

Re: Under dash toggle switch

My '71 doesn't have one of those switches either. To be honest, I don't remember seeing one with that switch.. I started working for GM dealerships in 1967 and I never installed something like that on a new vehicle. Could be some accessory installed by dealers, or someone's hack job.. Why not just trace the wires and see what they lead to????

Question Re: Under dash toggle switch

I've never seen a factory installed switch on the dash before. Pictures would be nice and as stated follow the wires and see what it's for.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.
