Cross member.

This cross member was in it when I bought the truck. I think it was the one that was in it for the 6 cyl. My question is it ok to use it with the th400?

If it fits and doesn't change the angle of the engine/transmission, I don't see why you couldn't.

That looks to be a Manual Trans Crossmeber for Bellhousing Mounts, No it will not work correctly without modifications.....Which I wouldn't waste time with......Source a '67-'72 Automatic Trans Crossmember, You can thank me later.

I agree. That is a bellhousing crossmember. Just get yourself a '63-'87 auto trans crossmember and drill the holes to bolt it in.
