Re: How about some pictures of '73-'87 short beds

Here is mine that I am working on. I have it tore down now with full air ride and doing all the metal work for new paint and interior. Still undecided on wheels.

When I got it. I have had it since I was 14.

Last year. Rat Rod Style.

Last Month. Air Ride but still Rat Rod. I want a clean custom now not a junker.

Thanks,
Jason

I've seen it @ several local shows. It's nicer than anything I own but for some reason it just doesn't 'flow' for me.

Re: How about some pictures of '73-'87 short beds

rchadhaney, do you have a link to the ebay add? what trans is in it? the 4L60 or 4L80? or is it a T5 or something??

is the engine a 4.8 5.3 or a 6.0? i thought about doing a 5.3 swap in my truck, good gas mileage compared to the 454 and plenty of power!

Do you mean the sticker on the door? it says Bakker Towing with an eagle on it that holds a chain it its claws.

On the fender i have been useing photoshop to erase some other ugly stickers that i have removed for real now.
and the side markers were broken so i have done a little photoshop over them.

but i have fixed them now! that pickture is 2 years old.
