The first time I saw a truck with louvers was the same day I fell in love with these trucks. I guess you could say I like them. I don't know anyone round here that does it, but eventually I would like a louvered cowl hood and a louvered tailgate. Then again I like the smooth look without it too. I'm torn...Lets just say whatever is done with class and taste is ok by me!

I'm going to have it painted next week, and since I don't have a digital camera I'll have to use up all the film on my wife's camera by taking pictures of my truck!
I'll post them as soon as I can. Thanks and keep the post coming! ------------------ 70 C-10 350 with weind intake, eldelbrock carb,HEI,305 heads,a mild cam. also a blazer tank w/bed fill, shaved stake pockets and tailgate

Even though I am an old school fan, I normally prefer not having them, however, I have seen a couple done up real tastefully and looked good.
So I am kinda split on it in reality. ------------------ '69 G.M.C. 350/350. I'm not real fond of them myself. I looked at a 72 blazer once that had the whole top of the hood louvered, the guy at the lot was trying to use it as a selling feature, I told him he could keep the hood and knock $400 off the price because I'd have to throw it away when I got it home. If done nice, and not to excess, they look alright, i guess.

Yes I can understand that it can be overdone
but then again so can anything. This hood has 4 rows of louvers only. Anyways I appreciate the honesty from you guys and that's the reason I put this out there. ------------------ 70 C-10 350 with weind intake, eldelbrock carb,HEI,305 heads,a mild cam. also a blazer tank w/bed fill, shaved stake pockets and tailgate

This is a pic of my hood, it is the only one he has done like this that I know of. When I went to pick the truck up he told me, he'd never ever do another off set one like it, because of how close the louvers are to each other. I think it is just enough and not to much.

Andy, What mirrors did you put on your truck? Do you have a closer picture of them. Those are the first sport mirrors I have seen that look really nice on these. More pics if you have them.

Andy, Looked at the side pic, thanks. That TPI motor looks great in there. How do you like it? Is it possible to mount those mirrors without elmininating the vent windows?
