late bed gas tank

I have a 67 SWB pickup with a later style bed. Has anyone utilized the correct tank for that style bed? I prefer to maintain the spare tire carrier but would like to remove the in-cab tank. Any help is appreciated.

I have a 69 with a 90 stepside bed. I wanted to use the stock fill on the bed but there is no room to put a tank on the side. I was even going to have a tank built to fit in the space but it would be to small. I filled in the hole and put a No Limit tank in the back. I canl carry a space saver spare behind the seat if I want.

we were going to try a saddle out of a newer truck but i think that you would only have room with a fleet box....

if it is one of those ones with the huge funny looking steps i wouldnt think that it would be a problem, or you can mount a fuel cell in the bed if you cant think of anything else
