600 to 770
I'm getting ready to add a break booster to my 72. The problem i'm having is I need a place to hook the vacuum hose from the brake booster. My question is I'm currently running a Holley 600 Carb with no place to hook my vacuum hose to, plus the carb needs a rebuild terrible on idle. I have a new in box 770street avenger that I bought a couple of years ago to go on the crate 350 with vortec heads I'm building. I'm currently running a stock 350. The 770 has plenty of vacuum ports for my brake booster, and will cure my idle issue, plus save on a rebuild. Do you think this carb will be to much for this stock engine or can I get by with it for a while? Thanks alot for any guidance.

Re: 600 to 770
Being that you already have it I would run it. Vacuum secondary carbs are pretty forgiving. I wouldn't worry. You might lose a tiny bit of low end power but if your current carb is worn out it will probably run better. No worries drop it on and go.
