2013 Suburban dvd player inop

The rear entertainment system in the wife's sub is stuck in the av input mode. When you switch the source button or put in a dvd, it only shoes the av input icon. You cannot switch it to dvd or any other input. The icons on the touch screen don't work and the remote control doesn't either. Put new batteries in the remote, tried it with the engine on in park, and engine off with the key in acc position. Nothing seems to work. The XM and fm radio works and I can play music from my phone through the usb port, but no dvd function. Any ideas? The nearest dealer is an hour away. Thanks, Neal
