Obviously I'm wrong, but when I ordered my new wheelhouses I don't remember anyone asking if it went into a truck or blazer. I'll look into it... J.

BTW I looked at the truck floors at Tri-Pro today and it diffinately looks doable

On my truck I have one from a blazer and one from a truck. I just checked, and they are both the same. I have them painted and installed, but no wood yet, so you had me worried. I don't know what's up with your blue one, but it is strange.

I'm planning to put a truck floor & firewall in my blazer also. I have the truck clip cut out, but it will be a while before I get around to it.

Re: Replacement Truck floor in a Blazer?

I contacted gmcpauls and he told me that the floors are the same as the pickup and that the rear floor is 95% compatable and the other 5% is the jack location on the passenger side just somethings I have ran into hope it helps.

Re: Replacement Truck floor in a Blazer?

I'm seriously thinking of giving this a try with my $600 check from the gubmint. If I do it, I'll have a body shop do it. The only reason I'm thinking of going this route is because I have rust all the way up to the seat mounting areas that they don't make replacement pans for. We'll see.

Re: Replacement Truck floor in a Blazer?

ARE YOU JOKING!!!!??

just kidding..

ya know I was thinking the same thing but thought I would get flamed out of town for saying so.

with all the shimming, pushing and pulling needed to get the windshield frame down to the torsion box lined up I think that as long as its braced enough that it wont fold in half when the body is pulled it will be fine.

I was clueless (still kinda am) when i pulled mine off the frame and its comming in as I want it, the thing sure was not straight before I started.

I think if I would've known about the full floor 6 months ago I would have tried it, just looks like a cleaner neater fix. 10 patch panels and all...

Rok, you seem to have the most experience, I say go for it, altho $600.00 does sound a little pricey...

On another matter, Rok what would you guess a buggy frame would cost to have made??? J.
