Glenn Korec

I was born in the fall of 1973. I was raised by my mother but lived in the same house as my grandfather. He served in the USAF from 1941-1972, he is the one that got me hooked on any thing mechanical. Growing up he drove a 65 tan C10 pick up. He had it in 1991 when I started to drive.
Currently I live in Jamesville NY, with my wife and two daughters. (ages 6 & 10). I have been married for 17 years, and work for a large university as a project manager. We just finished buildling our garage this month. My wife is a Nurse, and shares my interest in old cars (especially old chevy trucks) she just picked up a 61 Apache 10. She will be joining the forums soon.

Change the rear gear to a higher ratio, tops out at 65mph at 3000 RPM

What words of advice do you have to people who are just starting out with their project?
Take your time, enjoy the simple things as sourcing parts. Remember its your truck for your reasons, make it what you want, not what you think others want. Be creative. Most of all, enjoy the process.
