Looking good! I live about 15 miles from Salem. Kudos for sticking with the 6 banger. The racing stripe on the valve cover makes it look surprisingly peppy!

Just an observation here - so don't take it personal - but I'd lose that rear bumper! JMO...

Thank you for the kudos it means allot. Some of my closest friends and family tried there best to push away from the 250L but there is just something classy about resto mode. The bumper will have its day. I have to get a few things done on the honey do list before I get to deep into customizing.

Comments and suggestions are always welcome.

Nice work. I like the 6cyl but also like the red better. Just my preference.

Re: 1967 GMC C1500 SS 4.1L build thread

well after all that work of replacing all brake components I started bleeding the brakes and found out the wheel cylinders where not remand right the bleeder screw leaked, the line leaked and the old master cylinder leaked all under my dash. Back to the drawing board. Returning all parts to day so I can try a new manufacture. I know what you all are thinking just do a disc brake conversion. Well I am part of the government shutdown so that will have to wait. Drum brake repair for now.

Sweet looking ride, where did you find the bullet center caps to fit the stock wheels?

Summit P/N gor-hc216bt $28.91 after shipping. Oh and they don't fit I had the same problem that every 6 lug 3.5 bore person had I just made them fit. They are 3.30 bore I cut little relief cuts in the flange and bent them out to 3.5 and trimmed the center bore on the rim a little. I was told that someone on eBay(lug king) or something like that is selling a 3.75 size bore. If you buy those all you will have to do is open the rims bore a little no relief cutting or bending involved. I hope this helps.
Later
