that spare tire mount brought back nightmares as a child. My dad had that on our '65 Ford and I just hated it. BTW, I cannot even recall the last time I saw one in real life, in person! decade or two? Perhaps people caught on at just how rare it is to get a flat and have to struggle for a tire change - if they do it themselves.

Turns out ‘bestview’ Kenny spent many years right down the street
We finally hooked up, and hung out for the day
Lunch, dinner, BS’ing about trucks all day
Flat tires at Breweries
Jimmy’s in barns with mopars
He even brought me a tee shirt of an old brewery in our town
