measurement

I am not having any luck aligning my doors/fenders. My door seems to be in too much casing my fender to not line up. What is the rule of thumb measurement for door seal gap? I know all trucks will be different, but maybe I will see if I am in the ballpark. If someone could take a measurement, between the door & cab, where the bottom of the vent window & door meet. I would be very thankful.

Thanks, Lynn
