Not at all! Thanks for saving me the trouble of posting. Happy to say the truck still looks like that too!

Tim, I still think they used that large fender badge on both Customs and Super Customs. Even so, according to this pic, Customs had chrome hubcaps so you would be right on the painted hubcaps being improper. That photo was taken at a 2007 or 2008 parade in Northwest Iowa so who knows what was done at restoration.

Re: The 1967 GMC picture thread !!!

Well mine will be a 4x4 hopefully within a year from now, but this is how it sits now, picked it up for $260, motors in peices, and no seat, but i have plans for a vortec 454, nv4500, dana 44 and 14 bolt, heres the current pic. Real clean body, hardly any rust, decent paint, planning to fix up the body, fill in the trim holes, and keep the current paint scheme, or maybe go all blue, love that blue when it is cleaned up, beautiful.

Wow, you stole that thing! I assume the paint is not original? Haven't seen that blue on a 67 GMC before.

Re: The 1967 GMC picture thread !!!

No, it's been repainted. And looks like they didn't put the trim back on and just drove it, last registration on it was 1995. So it's been sitting for awhile. I think the windsheild damage is fairly recent because it is pretty nice Inside still. Hardly any rust. I'm not a body guy so I had to start with a nice body. Love seeing other 67's for inspiration.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.
