That’s a good assessment of it. It’s one thing to start out with a complete truck and have the majority of the big parts to put it back together. But starting from virtual scratch is an expensive endeavor.

Which yard is it at? I have a good buddy that is in love with these trucks. If you're completely out on this one, I bet he goes and snags it up.

Shoot, anymore, I'd almost start from scratch and piece one together. Have you seen what K trucks are bringing?

I know a guy contemplating purchasing a 72 K10 for $10k that has the engine torn out of it and needs how many g notes to get it driving.

Haha that was funny.

I was thinking about going to look at that gmc just to see if it’s legit. No way I’d pay 10 for it ever but would be cool to see if it’s a real shorty Sierra.

It is true though the 4x4 trucks are bringing good money these days.
