My glovebox radio install

I have had my stereo this way for a while but I didn't shoot a pic until today. It's a Sony unit that has a plug in for a wired remote on the back. I mounted the remote on my steering column for easy access. The truck has Vintage Air so the glovebox is quite small to say the least. The radio may seem like it's in an odd spot but it had to be high enough to clear the heater box and the other A/C components. It couldn't go in any further because it touches the firewall. I just did a little math and some guessing to get the location right for the radio opening. Once I slid the unit in I covered the exposed parts with black fabric.

The remote is mounted to the column with a nylon wire tie. I know it's kind of low tech but it kept me from drilling any holes or glueing anything to the column.

And an overall shot just cause I like showing it off a little.
