I'd say something is definitely up. These trucks blow pretty well when working correctly. No blower upgrade should be needed.

Wanna complain about blower strength, drive the 1st gen s10s. The ductwork in those just kills all the air flow that the blower creates.

For the most part, yes there is always room for improvement. Just saying I'd check what 87chevy said about the blend door first.

also the blend door over the gas pedal can be ajusted 3 ways inside
inside the rod can be put to all up ,all down, or leave some going up or down

Very good info, I have the same problem with my 84 .I have cold a/c but it barely blows so I cant use it . Gonna check this out when I get home.
