Re: Parting out well optioned 70 GMC 1/2 ton.

I have a 1971 Chevy C20.....I need all AC components (brackets, hoses, compressor, hardware, etc) in the engine bay for my 71 chevy C20. I have the large box on the firewall so I don't need that part. Does the AC work?
price shipped to 14120?

I will get them ready to go tonight. The shields are just half covers, you can get them at most auto parts stores. These are kind of rusty. Thanks, Fred.

The air conditioning system did not have any freon when we got the truck. I took the condensor off Sunday afternoon and there was still oil in the system. Let me make sure I can get all the components off without damaging any of them and I will shoot you a price. The compressor would probably just be a core, shipping it would be more than it is worth I would think. Thanks, fred.

Hey Jamie. The harness on this truck is marginal at best. Looks like the previous owner had stock in 3M when Scotchlocks came out. Sorry. I will keep an eye out for you but right now, I got nothing. Thanks, Fred.

Re: Parting out well optioned 70 GMC 1/2 ton.

Fred: I'm kinda used to bad news when it comes to these harnesses. The bad part about GM trucks of this era for guys like me is the fact that only about 1 in 5 or so are GMCs. And a lot of the parts specific to the GMCs are hard to come by if you wanna keep it all original. That's why i'm trying to round up as many of these original harnesses as i can get. Radiator supports are another story lol. Anyhow keep on the lookout for me if you will. If it's ok i'll pay you for the headlight parts thur. Thanks again Jamie
