Header gasket?

Got an exaust leak and need a set of gaskets.With stock{i think}307 heads are the ports round or square?And what size?Open for suggestions on best gasket set as well.Thanks.

unless someone sneaked something by me (entirely possible, but in this case highly unlikely) all pre-vortec SBC exhaust ports were the same. You're maybe thinking big blocks...?

Anyway, have had good luck with the standard foil backed paper gaskets (stock type). The trick I have used forever is to soak the gaskets, preferably overnight, in water. Once you run it for a bit of course the water turns to steam and how ever it does it, never had a leak unless the header bolts backed off (this was before man discovered Locktite ).

I thought all sbc header gaskets sets were the same but the Summit catalog offers choices.The year should indicate what I need,thanks.
